Classic dilemma: Users are notorious for wanting to get to work _now_, and not bother with setup or reading documentation or taking a tutorial. So how to encourage more effective product use without diverting the users from their goals or expectations? I wonder if it’s possible to create a family member seamlessly with setting a calendar event. Maybe if the user enters a name/email that doesn’t exist for an event, the app creates a new family member with a default color. Type-ahead encourages users to select family members that already exist.
